Skyway Surgery Center administrator details experience with Camp Fire: 4 points

In the aftermath of the Camp Fire, Raymond Hino, director of operations for Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners and administrator of the Chino, Calif.-based Skyway Surgery Center, detailed how the center’s staff and the surrounding community was affected by the fire in a post on LinkedIn.

Here are the key details to know:

1. Nobody on the surgery center’s staff was physically harmed in the fire.

2. However, 14 employees and five members of the medical staff lost their homes in the fire.

3. Mr. Hino said the Skyway Surgery Center’s staff has been aided by the center’s “extended family,” including business partners and other friends who have donated daily necessities such as food and clothing.

4. Mr. Hino said the help has allowed the Skyway Surgery Center to continue serving its patients.
