Nashville, Tenn.-based PhyMed Healthcare Group closed a transaction to partner with Phoenix-based Grand Canyon Anesthesia.

1. Financial terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed.

2. GCA provides anesthesia services to inpatient, outpatient and office-based partners across the Phoenix valley.

3. The anesthesiology practice has a team of 65-plus physicians, anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists.

“Fueled by our data and analytics capabilities, PhyMed’s focus on operational, clinical and service excellence will support GCA as they continue to expand in the market,” PhyMed CEO Marty Bonick said in a statement.
