City set to rule on Oroville Hospital expansion plans — 3 insights

The Oroville City Council will rule on Oroville (Calif.) Hospital’s $100 million expansion plans Nov. 6, the Chico Enterprise-Record reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The hospital is planning a five-story tower, which will include ambulatory services on the ground floor.

2. The tower will also house a labor and delivery center, an intensive care unit and medical-surgical units.

3. The hospital could break ground as soon as November, if the council approves the proposal.
