$16M California medical office building opens with outpatient imaging center — 3 insights

El Centro (Calif.) Regional Medical Center opened a two-story medical office building, the Imperial Valley Press reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The medical office building is 48,000 square feet.

2. The building houses more than 50 exams rooms,seven waiting rooms, an outpatient medical imaging center and several other amenities. The outpatient imaging center features advanced imaging machines, a 3D mammography, an MRI machine and an advanced CT scanner.

3. Construction started in February 2017 and cost approximately $16 million.
