Eye Institute of Utah among 1st to offer Visian Toric ICL — 3 insights

Salt Lake City-based Eye Institute of Utah will feature two of the first 50 surgeons in the U.S. performing Visian Toric ICL for myopia with astigmatism.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Robert J. Cionni, MD, and Zachary Zavodni, MD, will perform the newly approved procedure.

2. The procedure is intended for patients that aren’t eligible for Lasik eye surgery.

3. Dr. Zavodni said, “Our patients have been waiting a long time for access to this exciting technology. Vision correction for patients needing Toric ICL is literally life-changing, and we’re so proud to be able to deliver this new solution.”
