Here are five insights:

1. The 19,500-square-foot orthopedic and physical rehabilitation facility would be the first phase of a larger medical development complex.

2. The second phase would include primary care, a surgery center and other medical specialists.

3. The center is expected to generate a $2.5 million payroll.

4. Everyone who spoke at the meeting expressed support for the project, and the Granville Area Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors fully supports it.

5. There will be a public hearing about the proposed development Oct. 17.
