Supply chain tip of the day: Standardize products

Standardizing products and how they can increase profits for practices, according to Scott McDade, McKesson Medical-Surgical’s general manager of health systems.

He shared the following tip on McKesson Medical-Surgical’s blog:

“There’s a more direct line between supply chain and revenue in non-acute care settings. Many of these sites in a health system don’t have in-office lab testing. Others don’t offer vaccines. Your system can use its supply chain to expand point-of-care services at these sites and create new revenue opportunities.”
