The South Florida Surgery Center appointed Cristina Jimenez to its governing board, Miami Community Newspaper reported.

1. In her new role, Ms. Jimenez will oversee the South Florida Surgery Center’s quality and fiscal integrity.

2. She’s also served as the CEO of Coral Gables Hospital.

3. The South Florida Surgery Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and has 24 physicians on staff.
