UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown reopens after tornado — 5 quick facts 

UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown (Iowa) reopened its main campus July 27 after a tornado ripped through the area, WeAreIowa.com reports.

Here are five quick facts:

1. All services are now fully operational.

2. The Marshalltown family medicine clinic will transition back to the north campus July 30. The multispecialty clinic will return to the north campus at a later date.

3. Outpatient surgery, urgent care, wound healing and therapy services resumed normal operations at South Medical Park campus.

4. The storm destroyed UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown’s Cardiology Clinic. It will be relocated to the main hospital campus Aug. 2.

5. About 28 UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown team members lost their homes or had personal property significantly damaged, according to UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown President Jenni Friedly.
