Dr. Palekar earned her medical degree from University of Miami School of Medicine.
She completed her residency in internal medicine at the San Antonio-based Wilford Hall Medical Center, as well as her fellowship in gastroenterology.
Dr. Palekar is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Her interests include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, general gastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease.
