Alabama publishes ASC workers’ compensation fee schedule for 2018 — 4 facts

The Alabama Workers’ Compensation Division published updates to its ASC fee schedule.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The fee schedule applies to more than 30 centers in Alabama.

2. The newly published Addendum 3 replaces pages 87 to 95 of the 2018 Workers’ Compensation Prevailing Reimbursement/Maximum Fee Schedule.

3. More than a dozen centers agreed to a maximum reimbursement of cost plus 10 percent for hardware, implants and prosthesis used in cases costing more than $200.00.

4. The workers’ compensation fee schedules for 2018 can be found on the Alabama Department of Labor’s website.
