Here’s what you should know:
1. Dr. Moussa is a gastroenterologist at Crestview, Fla.-based North Okaloosa Clinic Corp.
2. The women accused Dr. Moussa of multiple different types of sexual assault. The behaviors allegedly involved several different types of inappropriate touching.
3. Despite the allegations Dr. Moussa was still seeing patients as of June 1.
4. Five women initially came forward alleging assault, which has since grown to 21.
5. The women filed civil suits, but the Crestview Police Department is investigating the claims. The CPD filed its report with the State Attorney General’s Office, which could pursue criminal charges.
6. Dr. Moussa will appear in court Aug. 1.
