Glens Falls Hospital opening office space for 3 specialty practices — 4 insights

Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital is planning to move three of its specialty practices into an office building also in Glens Falls, The Post Star reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The hospital is still seeking city approval for the project. If approved, the new space could be complete as soon as 2019.

2. The space will house the hospital’s Center for Lung and Chest Surgery, Adirondack Urology and Orthopedic Specialists of Glen Falls.

3. Physicians from Queensbury, N.Y.-based Baywood Surgical Associates will also see patients at the office, as they join the hospital’s staff.

4. Once Baywood Surgical Associates affiliates with the hospital, a new group Surgical Specialists of Glens Falls will be formed.
