Anesthesia foundations accepting applications for $300k patient safety grant — 4 insights

The Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation and Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research are accepting applications for the Mentored Research Training Grant.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The grant was founded to recognize researchers working to advance patient safety.

2. Applications will be accepted through Dec. 14, 2018.

3. The grant will be distributed over a two-year period to fund research that is relevant to perioperative care.

4. FAER Board of Directors Chairman Paloma Toledo, MD, said, “FAER is dedicated to developing the next generation of physician scientists in anesthesiology. The primary purpose of this grant is to train rigorous patient safety researchers who can then compete successfully for federal grants as a principal investigator.”
