Here’s what you should know:
1. Thryve has interested consumers take a health survey, then sends them a gut sample collection kit, which gets mailed back to the company. Finally, Thryve sends the consumer a personalized Gut Health program on a monthly basis.
The Gut Health program highlights information on the impact of stomach bacteria, and it offers diet and lifestyle recommendations. Each report also contains a wellness score to allow for the tracking of progress over time.
2. PivotNorth Capital, Unilever Ventures, Darling Ventures, Candela Paramount, Abstract Ventures and Joyance Partners all participated in the funding round.
3. Thryve is going to use the investment to increase research, technological development and marketing efforts.
4. Thryve’s work is supported by an in-house scientific advisory board.
5. Thryve Founder and CEO Richard Lin said, “The financial support from this fundraising will help us continue our mission to empower others to take charge of their gut health. Thryve exists to bring awareness to everyone’s personal gut health status and use the power of technology and science to help generate a positive impact.”
