Mr. Henson shared the following tip with Becker’s ASC Review.
“Ensure that you code not only for the purpose of the ASC visit, such as a broken finger, but also review other chronic conditions and diagnoses that influence current care. Double-check coding to ensure that conditions that require more resources are aligned with available reimbursements from CMS, if applicable.”
