The largest average ASCs, in terms of square footage, can be found in the South, where rental rates per square feet come at the lowest cost. On the other hand, rental rates in the Pacific region of the U.S. are the highest, according to VMG Health’s 2018 Multi-Specialty ASC Benchmarking Study.
