GI leader to know: Dr. Rebecca Ehlers of Midwest Gastrointestinal Associates

Rebecca Ehlers, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Omaha, Neb.-based Midwest Gastrointestinal Associates.

After earning her medical degree from Omaha-based University of Nebraska Medicine Center, she completed a residency at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, before returning to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for her fellowship.

Dr. Ehlers specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.

Outside of her practice, she enjoys traveling, watching movies and cheering on the Cornhuskers.
