1. The 6,500-square-foot surgery center opened in March, and its first total joint replacement took place April 7.
2. The center features seven trained and certified orthopedic surgeons. They specialize in total joint replacement and pain management.
3. The center has two operating rooms and a treatment room.
4. Towson, Md.-based SurgCenter Development developed the center through a partnership. This is SCD’s fifth center in Texas.
