Here’s what you should know.

1. Dr. Kaczanowski earned his medical degree from True Blue Point, Grenada-based St. George’s University. He completed a residency and fellowship at Norwalk (Conn.) Hospital.

2. He has conducted extensive research on the use of wireless capsule endoscopy, and specializes in treating colon cancer, esophageal cancer and swallowing disorders.

3. Dr. Kaczanowski is the Chair of Medicine at Nashua-based Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
