Note: Each company is followed by its number of employees and the revenue per employee.

1. Cardinal Health — 50,000 employees, $2.54 million
2. Hitachi — 35,631 employees, $2.41 million
3. Samsung — 93,200 employees, $1.86 million
4. Hewlett Packard — 49,000 employees, $992,857
5. BMW — 124,729 employees, $835,090

1. Apple — 2 million employees, $108,740
2. Foxconn — 1 million employees, $135,150
3. IBM — 380,000 employees, $210,315
4. Siemens — 377,000 employees, $234,350
5. ArcelorMittal — 220,000 employees, $255,765
