Tennessee hospital purchases 3 acres for expansion — 3 insights

Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health purchased three acres of land in Murfreesboro, Tenn., to facilitate an outpatient expansion, the DailyNews Journal reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Saint Thomas Health is planning to construct a 13,000-square-foot surgery center.

2. The center will have two operating rooms and one procedure room.

3. Saint Thomas Health is also constructing a joint venture ambulatory surgical treatment center with Addison, Texas-based USPI in the same county.
