Nearly one-third of physician groups tie 5 percent to 10 percent of their revenue to risk-based payment models, according to Sage Growth Partner’s 2017 Large Independent Physician Organizations Report.

Of the 89 single and multispecialty physician groups Sage Growth Partners surveyed, 48 participate in risk-based payments models.

1. Zero percent of revenue: 0 percent
2. One to 5 percent of revenue: 14.6 percent
3. Five to 10 percent of revenue: 29.2 percent
4. Ten to 20 percent of revenue: 16.7 percent
5. Twenty to 30 percent of revenue: 4.1 percent
6. Thirty to 40 percent of revenue: 8.3 percent
7. Forty to 50 percent of revenue: 4.1 percent
8. More than 50 percent of revenue: 6.3 percent
9. Not sure: 16.7 percent
