After earning his medical degree from Tamil Nadu, India-based Chingleput Medical College, he completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Chicago-based Cook County Hospital.
Dr. Bala is an American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association fellow.
He has more than 25 years of experience.
Additionally, Dr. Bala founded and serves as the medical director of Houston-based Bay Area Endoscopy Center.
