76% of healthcare leaders believe EHRs failed to lower costs

While nearly three-quarters of healthcare executives reported being generally satisfied with their EHRs, less than 25 percent believe their EHRs can deliver on core KLAS criteria for value-based care, according to a 2018 report from Sage Growth Partners.

Sage Growth Partners surveyed 100 healthcare executives and conducted in-depth interviews with six healthcare leaders. Here are seven statistics from their responses.

2. Better population health management tools: 64 percent
3. Better patient satisfaction: 64 percent
4. Better physician satisfaction: 60 percent

6. Better ease of use: 51 percent
7. Strategic improvements: 49 percent
