GI leader to know: Dr. David Hass of Gastroenterology Center of Connecticut

David Hass, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Hamden-based Gastroenterology Center of Connecticut.

Dr. Hass specializes in small bowel, liver and biliary tract disease disorders as well as pancreas disorders.

After earning his medical degree from New York City-based Weill Medical College, he completed an internship and residency at Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship at New York City-based Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Hass is the director of endoscopy at Yale-New Haven (Conn.) Hospital.

He serves on the Connecticut State Medical Society State Council. He previously served as president of the New Haven County Medical Association.
