Dr. Pochapin specializes in the prevention, detection and diagnosis of gastrointestinal cancers and in performing endoscopic procedures.
He earned his medical degree from Ithaca, N.Y.-based Cornell University. He completed a residency at New York City-based New York Presbyterian Hospital and his fellowship at New York City-based Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Pochapin became a gastroenterologist because “the gastrointestinal system plays a critical role in virtually every aspect of our health,” he said.
He has been published in several peer-reviewed publications.
