Kaufman Hall names new CEO – 5 notes

R. Wesley Champion will replace Therese Wareham as CEO of Kaufman Hall on April 2, 2018. Here are five insights:

1. Mr. Champion was named managing director and COO of Kaufman Hall in July 2017.

2. In his prior role as senior vice president at Premier Inc., Mr. Champion led the performance improvement practice for Premier Performance Partners, which he helped take public.

3. Ms. Wareham, who founded Kaufman Hall with Ken Kaufman and Mark Hall in 1985, will return to doing full-time client work as managing director.

4. Kaufman Hall has expanded its software and data practice by acquiring four companies during Ms. Wareham’s six years as CEO.

5. Ms. Wareham will help transition CEO responsibilities to Mr. Champion over the next several months.
