2 highly respected attorneys join healthcare and life sciences law firm – 5 details

Stacie Neroni and Hope Levy-Biehl joined Los Angeles-based Nelson Hardiman, expanding the firm’s regulatory practice. Here’s what you should know:

1. The attorneys both joined from Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, PC.

2. Ms. Neroni focuses on regulatory compliance, licensure, certification and operational matters for various providers, including ASCs and physicians. She has expertise in regulatory issues that arise from ownership and management changes.

3. Ms. Levy-Biehl is an expert on health information privacy and security and advises clients on regulatory issues stemming from mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations. She was chair of the regulatory department at Hooper, Lundy & Bookman and will continue serving in that role at Nelson Hardiman.

4. The two lawyers’ areas of specialty will expand Nelson Hardiman’s practice in licensing, certification, payment, compliance and day-to-day operations for healthcare organizations, according to managing partner Harry Nelson.

5. Nelson Hardiman works with ASCs on matters including acquisitions, arbitration, business disputes, finance, reimbursement and licensure and certification.
