A Philadelphia native, Dr. Gambescia earned his medical degree from Philadelphia-based Hahnemann Medical College, before completing an internship and residency at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship at the University of Miami.
Dr. Gambescia is a founding member of Philadelphia Gastroenterology Group.
Throughout his 35-year medical career, Dr. Gambescia held many leadership positions including serving as Hahnemann Hospital’s president of staff.
Dr. Gambescia is an American College of Physicians and American Gastroenterological Association fellow.
He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
