Here’s what you should know:

1. Gastrointestinal Associates constructed a 52,000-square-foot medical office building and ASC in Knoxville on a 4.5 acre site.

2. The center was originally expected to be constructed on a 1.5 acre site, but Mr. Honeycutt and Realty Trust Group envisioned something larger. They worked with three property owners and utility companies to acquire the site for GIA’s facility and the required parking.

3. Realty Trust Group conducted the extra work because, “patient experience was at the center of the project.” GIA performs more than 15,000 colonoscopies annually.

4. Mr. Honeycutt said, “This project is a great asset in terms of the quality of healthcare in the community, so to see it come to life is a huge sense of accomplishment for our team.”
