Here’s what you should know:
1. With 13-plus years of experience, Dr. Balderas began her career after earning her degree from Galveston-based University of Texas. She completed a residency and fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas before completing an additional fellowship in advanced endoscopy at UT Health Science Center San Antonio.
2. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
3. Dr. Balderas treats gastritis, pancreatitis, hepatitis, peptic ulcers and Crohn’s disease, among others.
4. She is on the Texas Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy board.
