1. Ms. Watson joined Avanza as a senior consultant with experience developing policies and procedures for ASC accreditation and Medicare certification that meet state and federal regulations. She has worked with centers to create necessary documentation logs and prepare for the accreditation process.
2. Throughout her career, Ms. Watson has worked closely with multiple freestanding and physician-owned outpatient facilities as well as hired and mentored staff in the ASC arena. She has experience working with staff and preparing them for the ASC certification process.
3. Ms. Watson brings success in her previous roles to Avanza; all centers she has advised achieved accreditation without deficiencies.
4. While joining Avanza, Ms. Watson plans to continue working as a director of nurses for a single-specialty center to provide guidance and leadership.
5. Ms. Watson is a member of the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses as well as the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management.
