DePuy Synthes debuts Purevue Visualization System — 5 insights

DePuy Synthes unveiled its Purevue Visualization System at Orthopaedic Summit 2017: Evolving Technologies, Dec. 6 to Dec. 9 in Las Vegas.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The new system is an imaging platform for minimally invasive endoscopic surgery.

2. The system is a combination of a light source, an image processor and local image management. It reduces operating room footprints as a result.

3. Users control the system through touch-screen navigation, with many of the MIS applications offering customizable settings.

4. The system also features an autoclavable camera with a proprietary sensor designed for endoscopy.

5. The system completes the company’s capital equipment offerings for arthroscopy procedures.
