Here’s what you should know:
1. The equipment will support the Riecker Surgery Center, as well as the hospital’s cardiovascular, maternity, neurology, oncology, rehabilitation and step down services.
2. Approximately 80 people work in the hospital’s gift shop. The profits from all sales are donated to the medical center for equipment.
3. Gift Shop Services Chair Carolyn Popp said in a release, “Through much hard work and dedication by the volunteers, we were proud to be able to purchase equipment to help staff provide out patients with excellent care.”
