Dr. Compton earned his medical degree from Boulder-based University of Colorado. He completed a residency and fellowship at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Colorado Medical Society.
Dr. Compton began working at the Centers for Gastroenterology in 1999.
