POSITION OBJECTIVE:
- Directs and assists with the development of the organization related to policies, practices, and attainment of operational goals.
- Directs and assists with the annual strategic plan implementation and operations of assigned surgery centers as well as the start-up and operations preparation of assigned centers.
- Ensures high quality patient care standards are met consistent with AAAHC and The Joint Commission regulations in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Oversees and manages, in collaboration with, the Administrator, the financial performance of the centers.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Required, MHA or MBA or equivalent education preferred
- Minimum 10 years of health care management experience, 5/7 years operational ambulatory surgery center required.
- Experience in strategy development and physician relations to execute in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience with surgery center business office functions including billing, accounts receivable management, and accounts payable management.
- Experience with personnel management including employee supervision, recruitment and training, and employee performance improvement.
- Experience with third-party payer contracting, physician recruitment and retention, and marketing.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Relocation to corporate required.
- At least 50% travel.
