5 new GI-driven ASCs & facilities — August 2017

Here are five gastroenterology-focused ASCs or facilities that were newly announced or opened in August.

Coral Gables, Fla.-based Digestive Medicine Associates is opening its fourth facility in Kendall, Fla.

Cherokee Nation is in the midst of constructing the Cherokee Nation Outpatient Health Center in Tahlequah, Okla. The center will provide several services including gastroenterology through an on-campus ASC.

Atlanta-based Grady Memorial Hospital bought land for its new $141.7 million surgical center — Advanced Surgical Services. The center will offer orthopedics, oral surgery, gastroenterology, rehabilitation, cancer and ophthalmology care, among others.

Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health held a groundbreaking ceremony to expand its clinic in Grand Rapids, Minn.

Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Healthcare is in the midst of constructing a new gastroenterology center, the Digestive Health Institute.
