Kettering Health Network to build hospital with surgery center: 5 points

Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network is planning to expand in Troy, Ohio, through a new hospital, according to Dayton Daily News.

Here are five points:

1. The hospital will be almost 100,000 square feet.

2. Kettering plans to add a surgery center to the hospital.

3. Additionally, the hospital will include a lab and imaging, an emergency department and a medical office building.

4. The health system will begin construction this year and expects to finish in late 2018.

5. Kettering employs more than 12,000 people and had revenues reaching $1.5 billion last year.
