Dr. Schmalz specializes in hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases.
He began his career after earning his medical degree from Milwaukee-based Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at MCW.
Dr. Schmalz serves as the gastroenterology chairman at Milwaukee-based Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center.
He is an American College of Gastroenterology fellow.
