ASC leader to know: Dr. Stanford Plavin of ASCA

Stanford Plavin, MD, is an Ambulatory Surgery Center Association board member. Additionally, he is the president of Atlanta-based Technical Anesthesia Strategies and Solutions, a physician-owned company. He was the president of Greater Atlanta Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Plavin earned his medical degree from Burlington-based University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Atlanta-based Emory University Hospital.
