1. Dr. DeGuzman is in private practice in Newport Beach, Calif.

2. He has more than two decades of gastroenterology experience.

3. Dr. DeGuzman began his career after earning his medical degree from the Philippines-based University of Santo Tomas. He completed an internship and residency at Livingston, N.J.-based St. Barnabas Medical Center and a fellowship at University of Illinois at Chicago.

4. Dr. Guzman is an American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association fellow.
