Here’s what you should know:
1. Mr. McConnell said legislators want to make several changes to the bill and get a new Congressional Budget Office score. The CBO said the bill would cause 22 million to lose coverage in its current state.
2. CNN reports Republicans are having a difficult time passing the healthcare bill because of a divide in the party. Although, it’s believed time could help bridge the gap, senators are expected to face constituent pressure over the recess.
3. Five Republican senators plan to vote against the health bill in its current form. For the bill to pass, only two Republicans can vote against it.
