GI leader to know: Dr. Mark Eisner of Florida Medical Clinic

Mark Eisner, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Tampa-based Florida Medical Clinic.

Dr. Eisner is the clinic’s head of gastroenterology. He also serves on the clinic’s board of directors. In addition, Dr. Eisner is the Zephyrhills Special Procedures Surgery Center’s endoscopy medical director.

He began his career after earning his medical degree from Washington, D.C.-based The George Washington School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at Baltimore-based Francis Scott Key Medical Center before completing his fellowship at Washington, D.C.-based Georgetown University.

Dr. Eisner has a special interest in gastroesophageal reflux disease.

He has a wife and three children. Outside of his practice, Dr. Eisner enjoys traveling, golfing and collecting stamps.
