The company’s board of directors appointed David Lee as the new chief healthcare officer. Here are five things to know about Mr. Lee:

1. Mr. Lee began his career as administrative director of operations at PIH Health and previously served as president and CEO for Friends of Family Health Centers. He was also president and CEO of Huntington Health Physicians.

2. He has a background in leadership strategy and building value-based reimbursement models for physicians.

3. In his new role, Mr. Lee will focus on innovation through preparedness. “Physician leaders are poorly equipped to navigate the impending changes and are desperate for curated guidance in dealing with various considerations before making big investments of time and/or money into a technology or solution, and Solve Healthcare is uniquely positioned to add immediate value to this critical decision-making process,” said Mr. Lee.

4. The company also launched a new digital health and medical diagnostics venture capital arm, Solve Ventures, that will bring together stakeholders with a national network of innovation centers.

5. Solve Ventures is currently raising capital for its flagship fund and a physician-supported fund.
