Here’s what you should know.
1. The new system allows physicians to assess patient motility disorders during endoscopy.
2. The system introduces real-time esophageal contractility patterns on a 24 inch touch screen.
3. According to a Crospon release, the device “enables gastroenterologists, for the first time, to investigate for conditions such as achalasia, GEJ outflow obstruction and other major or minor disorders of peristalsis during endoscopy.”
4. Crospon will ship the device beginning in June 2017.
