Here are three key points on its ASC plans:
1. The hospital purchased 58 acres in 2016 with plans to construct an ASC on four acres.
2. Through the surgery center, Silver Hospital hopes to make room for its growing demand. Its 11 operating rooms performed more than 95,000 procedures over the last five years.
3. Silver Cross aims to have the surgery center open by summer 2017.
