Here’s what you should know.
1. The practices unite every year to hold the race. They donate all proceeds to the WNC Colon Cancer Screening Initiative, an organization providing screening for uninsured and underinsured North Carolina residents.
2. Race Director Jennie Zbierski said the practices raised approximately $11,000 for the organization.
3. Noah Wiese and Mallory James were the races’ overall winners.
