HFAP, which volunteered for the submission of the recently implemented CMS ASC Infection Control Surveyor Worksheets, is encouraging its accredited ASCs to voluntarily use the standardized set of quality measures developed by the ASC Quality Collaboration and report the findings to HFAP, which will then forward the data to the ASC QC.

The organization has also revised its standards to guarantee a 30-day turnaround from the date of an ASC’s application submission to the accreditation survey’s start, reducing the turnaround time from 90 days.
