Jim Freund joins Merritt Healthcare Advisors as EVP of business development: 5 key notes

Merritt Healthcare Advisors named Jim Freund the new executive vice president of business development.

Here are five key notes:

1. Mr. Freund will lead Merritt’s sales team in his new role. He will help clients realize the value of their assets, source strategic relationships and manage the process to achieve successful transaction.

2. He has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector and was a founding partner of SourceMedical — now known as SourceMed.

3. Throughout his career, Mr. Freund has worked with ASC management companies and consultants as well as worked with more than 1,000 individual facilities. He has a background in surgery center operations and technology.

4. In addition to his leadership, Mr. Freund has spoken at several conferences and contributed to industry publications.

5. Merritt Healthcare Advisors works with ASCs in all aspects of transaction deals, including structuring the transaction, navigating due diligence process and assisting with closing documents.
